i prefer the camera to be at a distance,
the shot
taken
with friendly
lighting
as i sit in the shade
of an old oak tree,
i pray there's still
a good side
to my face.
i'm reluctant, but
ready
for my close up after
telling
the photographer
to please
step back,
just a few more
yards away.
