yellow.
every conversation seems
to head
that way.
whether in sports
or crime,
politics.
they can't let it go,
they
need it to validate
some
convoluted point
with race.
and because of that it
will never
go away.
it's no longer about
the content
of character,
but the color of one's skin.
each generation
has to start all over
again.
