there are friends

that you tend to go into

conversations with,

philosophical

and moral

discussions about the world

at the large.

life and death,

love

and regrets.

you fall back into chairs

and drink

and talk long

into the night

solving nothing, but getting

somewhere.

and then there are friends

that want

to discuss the score

of last night's game,

the ref's call,

the play made,

who won or lost,

how the weather affected

it all.

there's room for both

i suppose.
