three cups by noon

i make

a vow

to only have one cup of coffee

today.

but then,

i fix another,

by noon,

i've had

three cups and i'm 

jittery

and nervous.

i'm at the bottom

of the pot.

shaking

the bean bag,

which is almost empty.

i need to go to the store

soon.
