we all
do stupid things, say ridiculous
things,
act in ways
that will make us laugh
as we get older.
slightly
bewildered at our
lack of common
sense,
cringing with shame
at our behavior.
we're we really
that dumb
back then,
that uneducated, marching
like sheep
for reasons we don't even
understand
or really believe in?
trying
to change what we have
no power
to change.
we've all been there,
but leave quickly
once we age.
