fluctuating by pennies
or dollars,
reminds me
of her,
a past unfortunate
love.
how fickle she was.
how she
ran hot or cold, depending
on her mood,
what pills
she forgot to take or
were on.
low one second,
high the next.
leaving me guessing
where to
buy gas.
where to get my oil
checked.
