you can't turn a dog
into a cat
in a hundred sessions
of deep
talks.
the therapists know this.
they listen,
they
let you babble, but there's no
fixing here.
they give
you a hint or two,
a clue.
they make you turn
back
the pages
and find out
where you went wrong,
or if you even
did,
but in the end you learn
that it's
all on you.
you are who are for
the most part.
you either bark
or meow.
