has finally ended.

him unable to read
the numbers anymore
on his daily purchase
of ten twenty-dollar tickets.
he doesn't trust anyone
else to read them
to him,
but suddenly
after a few months or so,
he has five thousand
dollars in the bank
that wasn't there before.
