strange how the sock

drawer

is full

and yet not one sock matches

the other.

each white sock

different,

each black sock

different.

how is this

possible?

i think it's worthy of

an episode

on the Twilight Zone.

i get busy

with the screen play.

i can hear Rod Serling's

voice now

as he slowly pulls

open a drawer

in the shadowy room,

then holds a lone 

sock up

for the camera.
