old and unwise

just because

her face

is creased with time,

with worry

and trouble,

or that there are

lines around his eyes

and mouth,

his hair

gone grey,

don't mistake this

for wisdom,

it doesn't always

work that way.

old does not equal

wisdom,

sometimes, just age.
