the man
puts his head into a lion's mouth.
he wrestles
bears
and alligators,
climbs a mountain,
jumps out
of a plane,
dives deep into the ocean,
or heads
off to the moon
in a jerry rigged
contraption.
it's almost
as if he's
asking for pain
and death,
willing to die to alleviate
his boredom.
