i get back on the horse
after the fall.
i'm back in the saddle.
i yell out giddy up,
and wave my hat in the air.
i'm wearing my
new boots, my new chaps
held up by my new belt
with a giant buckle
in the shape of texas.
i'm ready again
to ride the trail, herd
the cattle, sheer the sheep.
milk the cows.
whatever. truthfully,
i've had too much to drink
and i shouldn't be on this
horse again.
can you help me down.
walk me back to the barn?
