of the priest,
the bishop, the pope.
do they ever doubt?
do they lie wide awake
at night, unable to sleep?
worried.
they have the same information
or lack thereof
that we do.
and yet seem so sure
of themselves.
is it just a mask,
having invested
so much time and effort
into believing that there's no
turning back?
i agree with them,
why risk it all and take a
chance.
