it's a blind

corner,

where wrecks occur on a daily

basis

as the red light

is run.

the scraps

of broken glass and metal

are scattered

everywhere,

sometimes blood.

you hear the horns

clashing from the window

then the thud

of cars

striking one another.

then the sirens.

it happens all the time,

but nothing

is ever done.
