golf,
but i can talk the game.
i buy golf pants
and shirts, shoes, gloves,
the visor.
i talk about the back nine,
mulligans, birdies
and eagles.
my six iron.
i go on about the sand traps,
the cut of the greens,
the layout of holes.
the hardest pin to reach.
my handicap is three,
though i've never hit
a ball off
a tee.
no one's the wiser.
