we endure

as i speak

only one toilet out of four,

seems

to leak.

not bad.

it's been worse.

it's not really

a leak,

but a gasket gone

awry,

its lifetime

of enduring flushes

have ended

apparently

and now the tank has

to keep

refilling itself.

almost on the hour.

i'm used to it though.

i'm used to many things

that used to annoy

me.

part

of the aging process,

i guess.
