i can't
remember ever borrowing
money
except
from the bank of course,
to purchase
a car
or house, but that's about
it.
i try to pay cash
for whatever it is i might
need, or wish
to buy for
someone else.
i don't recall ever
asking
my mother or father for
a loan
of any kind.
a hand out of sorts to get
me through
the day.
although they often did
of me.
