with a wagon
pulled
by an old horse.
he wanted scraps of metal.
tin,
steel, iron.
as a kid you looked at
him and wondered
what kind of life
that was.
and what about the horse.
where did he keep
the horse?
was his mother proud of him.
or did having a horse
make up
for everything.
