for so long,
orange too. it was always
grey, or white,
some shades of black,
plenty of
indigo blue.
but now
somehow green has elbowed
its way into
the room
that pillow for instance.
that picture
on the far wall. abstract.
the orange vase
sitting boldly
on the window sill.
