of a pipe, his tools
in hand.
his light with him
as he bends
to fix a leak.
and the same goes
for the electrician,
as he leans
into the circuitry,
twisting
wires, snipping,
unafraid of the shock
he might get.
they know what they
are doing.
like you do when
you lean over to kiss
me before we sleep.
