between the lines

hardly a day goes by
without being misunderstood.

which is fine.

I thrive on turmoil
and drama. I get up after each
knock down
to fight again.

I live daily with
reading and writing between
the lines.

it's exhausting always having
to explain
and defend what you say,
what you write,
what's in your eyes.

but so it goes and this
too
will be scrutinized.
