willing to change

after a hard day on the job
it's a nice nap
after a freezing cold shower.

I hardly moved
beneath the cool sheets
as I fell into a deep slumber
full of dreams.

I wake up refreshed ready to
start the next
third portion of the day.

it's good to have a routine,
but with some flexibility of course,
I mean if you
were here,
it might be different.

i'm willing to change.
