the astronomy of love

the astronomy
of love
 is complex.
it involves
timing, being
at the right place
at the right time,
like an eclipse
with the moon
shadowing
the earth,
or the orbit
of a meteor circling
the galaxy
and finally making
it's way back
into view.
the stars and planets
need to align,
but you don't when
it's coming
you can only
keep looking
upwards with your
eye pressed to
to the glass, your
heart not obstructed
by the clouds.
