thinking she
needed a change
of scenery,
she rolled the large
stone in her yard
from the front to the back
of the house
then around
to the side, closer
to the fence
to where the trees
would shade it.
finally, she put it
back to where it was,
where it was placed
eons ago, when the glaciers
dragged the moutains
across the wide
plains before melting.
no need to change
for the sake
of change, she thought
and went back in
satisfied for what
she did and did not do.

I get it. It's hard to take a stand and make a statement. It's a little passive agressive, but who among us is not fearful of taking a stand.
