i try,

i give it the old college

try

with this book,

slowly

digging in,

a best seller world wide,

but

it's no use, i can't read

another line,

it's a three hundred page 

Ambien

pill.

i can barely keep open

my eyes.

i had high hopes

for it,

with all the blurbs from

the New York Times,

but nah,

i'm done with it.

time to shut it down,

but i'll keep

it bedside.
