more taxes
on the rich,
more free stuff, more
of everything.
he's put a candy bowl
on every corner
of every street.
free housing, free food,
free school.
legal drugs.
he wants the city to be
a sanctuary for the poor
the lost,
the traumatized
and weak,
the needy and convicted.
an asylum
for the mentally
ill.
he wants to open up
the prison doors
and set
people free.
and you wonder why
so many are
packing to leave.
