to take
the life of a wasp
about
to sting you, the snake
about
to bite you on the ankle?
the rabid
raccoon
crazy eyed with
claws
out?
is there guilt
and remorse for
these innocent creatures
just doing
what nature
tells them to do?
perhaps a little, but
not much
as you secure the back
door.
