guilt free littering
as i unwrap
the paper and foil
from the stick of gum,
a gust
of wind
takes it out of my hand
and sets
it sailing far
down the road.
when i was
younger
i might have chased it.
being the good
person
that i am.
but i guess i've changed
from who i was
back then.

word of the day
who has the time?
things would never be the same
the nightly news on msnbc
the geometry of cheese
finding love on the bus
it's a bird, it's a plane, it's...it's oh, a weath...
and finally nameless
sprinkles and nuts
bricklayer's helper
the heat of summer nights
shaving her head while she sleeps
the once shiny apple
smoke em if you got em
one small nibble of a donut
i don't like people anymore
the lost train of thought
i'm still your friend
the wrong side of the bed
the ship is tilting our side
the barb wire fence
valid once more
bless you
very very quiet people next door
the smudge of a kiss
knowing every word to every song
we need more babies
playing at funeral
being judgmental
it's hard being God
finding the right protest to go to
making new friends
a little personal time
they know rain
the duplicate key
why do you live here?
the man in you
self portraits
i will never run out of ink or socks
what is a woman?
the onslaught of propaganda
sugar craving
sampling throughout the house
some birthdays are better than others
and now what?
he's unbroken
keep rowing
rainy day money
Saturday Morning in the barber's chair
after what you told them
waiting on your arrival
limping home on one shoe
sweeping up birds
rebels with a myriad of causes
a row of turtles
whether left or right
i used to care but things have changed
in the hands of others
remembering nearly everything
in line for a bagel with everything
from a distant star
Moe's Diner
there is no breaking news
the cafeteria line
2 pm Physics class
the Senator's number one priority
scheduling sex
not quite whole foods study group
giving blood
raised by wolves
a picnic by the river
internal squabbling
field after fields go by
no fault of her own
a passing fancy
please Oprah, tell me how to live my life
the arc of words thrown
can we park here?
fhe devil works in mysterious ways
off the grid for two nights
i just want ten minutes of your time
flying ice cubes
a week in review
the store limit of ten cartons of eggs
the sugar high mass
filet o fish
two tin cans and a long piece of string
ET go home
a late spring snow
her tight leather pants
the key lime pie evaluation
avoiding the army
please, dear God, stop whining people
pricing by the pound
she's back home now
spring cleaning
the hidden thorns
everything is hunky dory
the memory of you is like gum stuck to my shoe
billions and billions
