in the DMV, it occurs
to me
that i don't like people anymore.
the woman
sitting next
to me
is eating from a bag of
Doritos.
crunching loudly
each bite
into my ear.
a kid
behind me keeps
smacking
my seat, and making
monkey noises.
and the man sitting across
from
me,
won't stop looking at me
as he flosses
his teeth.
i look at the ticket in my
hand,
number one hundred
and nineteen
and they're only on six.
i've had it with people.
