so why not.
i confirm our friendship

of the button.
but before
long,
after some flattering
small talk,
she asks me for money.
just a little to
tide her over
until her next world tour
and gig
in the states.
she suggests using
pay pal, or Zelle,
or a cash app.
i ask her, what's that?
suddenly
we're no longer friends,
and she's gone.
