a bucket down to catch
the rain.
there's a leak in the roof.
it's an event
of sorts.
the cat comes in,
the dog,
they look up
at the ceiling, then at me.
they seem
worried,
more worried than i am.
i've dealt with
leaks before.
nearly everything broken
can be fixed.
but they don't
know that.
