i think back

to every car or truck

i've ever

purchased

and think if there

was one,

just one,

a single transaction where

it all went

as planned,

with no underhanded

shenanigans.

no lying, no cheating,

no extra charges.

i count zero.

when i've driven away

in the new

vehicle,

i've always felt

that i've been taken,

but vowing to myself,

never again.
