though it annoys others,
and makes
them not want
to be around me.
the fact
that i lived on a street
called
Pleasure Cove Court
for the worst
ten years of my
life somehow amuses me,
or that i married
someone
with the license plate
peace at home
with rosary
beads hung
from her rearview mirror
while sleeping
with another man,
is rich with ironic overtones.
you can't make
this stuff.
reality is so much more
interesting
than fiction.
the hours are full of it.
