truly loved
your son,
you'd buy him that toy,

game.
those shoes,
that camera, that bike,
the college
tuition,
another car.
you'd give him money
to go on
that trip to Bali,
fund his marriage,
his honeymoon,
his life.
after he turned 40, still
with no job,
floundering,
i figured it was no longer
about love and that
i had done him
more harm
than good.
he's waiting on the will
though.
