words with the glue
i'm
spreading
along
the edges of this broken
lamp.
not quite porcelain,
but
perhaps
some sort of Chinese
glass.
nothing sticks
despite
the promise on the label,
the ads
i've seen on tv.
in the end it collapses
on itself
and falls to the floor.
i grab my coat
and hat.
time for a new lamp.
