tattoos, skulls
and crossbones,
butterflies
and hearts
inked on
necks and torsos,
breasts
and other assorted
parts. what is it with
the metal dripping from
ears
and tongue,
nose,
the ear with a hole.
the pink
hair.
is it wanting to be
noticed?
a lack of early hugs?
some
deficit of self-esteem?
who knows,
but i think i'm going out
the same
as i came in.
