the house
with broken windows,
the open door,
the roof
collapsed.
the yard unattended
to,
the rusted
fence,
the broken gate,
the tilt of the chimney
missing
bricks.
full of bats
not all things, or people
can be saved.
at some point it's best
to move on
and to not look back.
