edison lights hanging in
their yards.
they have fire pits and
chairs
with white tables.
there's a fountain
in one, a hot tub in the
other.
green plants
and gardens with flowers.
flowers!
they're having people
over
with drinks in their hands.
the barbeques going.
everyone is making
small talk.
i hate small talk.
how can i keep up
with this?
