the third planet

the blue sky persuades

me to

go out

and lie in the sun.

i love the sun.

the warm hand of it

upon my face.

i can't imagine a world

without a sun.

it's nice

to be the third planet

just far enough away.

just close enough,

to lie out

and sun bathe.
