falling under a blue sky

i know you don't believe

in miracles

but i do.

having witnessed several

in my lifetime.

though

to the unbeliever they might

be construed as

coincidental

or accidental, or strange

and odd

occurrences, flukes. i have

seen things,

known things,

found things, without so much

as a single clue.

i have fallen off of

roofs and got up

and went back to work.

i've seen the blue sky looking

down on me

as i fell

and fell and fell. the list

is neither long

or short, but there is so

much more to tell.
