we play a game
at the airport. guessing who
everyone is, or might be,
where they're going,
what they're up to, either
good or no good.
who's in love, who's breaking
up,
who is going to a place
where they won't return.
where they'll live happily
ever after
madly in love full of hope
and trust.
and she smiles and says,
I like that destination,
so, what about us?
