the waitress
is young, it's her first
night on the job,
things get spilled,
forgotten,
forks and spoons
fall to the floor.
she brings the salad
out last,
the bread too.
gives us the wrong
drinks.
but it's her first
day on the job,
who hasn't been that
young, that new?
it's all okay.
it's just her turn,

her through.
