we need them to clean

up Gotham City,

to go around

the world

and save

us from ourselves.

someone to catch

the bullets,

dismantle

the bombs,

someone to stop the evil.

we need a superhero of some

kind

to stop the madness

that the world has become.

where is the Flash,

the Green Lantern,

Wonder woman,

the heroes of our childhood?

we shine the signal

up in the sky,

but no one comes.
