running out of bodies by now?
out of bullets
and bombs,
drones
and stretchers to haul
the wounded
away.
aren't they low on food
and drink,
morale?
aren't they tired of death,
of mayhem,
of the mud
and blood they lie in?
how long can this war
go on?
soon, children will be taking
up arms.
there's no surrender
in sight, no victory either.
just day into night.
forever more.
