in a nice telescope
that i find
on Amazon, trying
to expand my
interests, my intellectual
horizons, so to speak.
i want to
check out the stars,
the planets,
the moon,
Jupiter and Mars.
i want to see what's out there
in this vast
universe,
what's happening
in the skies
when
the lights are out.
but then i notice in the high
rise building
across the street,
this woman doing yoga
in her apartment.
she does an amazing
routine,
sometimes standing on her
head for minutes
at a time,
wearing
what looks like something
from Lu Lu Lemon,
sometimes lavender,
sometimes in pink.
very celestial,
heavenly
in a manner of speaking.
