things
that leak
or squeak, or splinter,
or rattle,
anything loose
or broken,
that needs repair.
i prefer
good wiring,
lights that don't flicker,
an oven
that warms,
plaster
that doesn't crumble
upon the floor.
no mold or mildew
please.
no broken windows,
or gurgling pipes.
what i'm
saying is, is that
i can't be with you
anymore.
