her crying next door.
she's shaved
her head.
she even shaved her dog
in protest.
her white cat
now dyed blue.
sometimes
she pounds on the walls,
stomps
her feet,
throws things.
she hasn't gone out
of the house
since the vote
was counted,
except to put her
recycling bin at the curb.
i wave
and say hello,
but get no response,
she seems
very perturbed about
something.
