punishment

my mother

and father used to punish us,

by no tv,

no going out

to play

in the street.

no wandering the city

with my friends.

we had to take a bath,

brush our teeth,

read and go to bed early.

and if lucky,

maybe we could have

a snack to eat.

this is exactly how i

live my life now.
