is the thrill, the imbedded
genetic code
of men,
some women too.
let's not
pretend.
but most prefer to gather,
to form
and mend.
but we sharpen
our spears, our
swords
and go out into the wilderness.
no matter
the weather,
snow or wind.
we can't stop ourselves
from being
who we are,
genetically predetermined
to survive
and win.
