at last clear of furniture
and clothes,
just the cobwebs
and dust
of years
left behind.
it's empty
now.
almost.
he stands in
the foyer
without words,
the last box
in his arms,
wondering where did
all those years
go?
then pushes the door
closed, turning
the key
once more.
